Doodle Bags? DOODLE BAGS!?

I'm getting ready for the Columbus Book Festival this weekend and trying something a little new. The first 51 people buying something from me will get a bag with a signed original piece of art/prompt to go to nixcomics.com. Why 51? In my head it was a nice round 50, but I apparently lost count.

The basic idea was make a little piece of ephemera with a silly name for those who want it. They aren't fancy: just a 1-2 minute sketch of a musician made with a Sharpie and Papermate flair pen. nothing deep, though I do hope some folks will realize that the flair pen additions are supposed to be cartoon panels and the musicians are purposely busted-out of their constraining borders.

A thing that happened to me, though, is I kind of fell in love with making these. I now want them to be a little more permanent than ephemeral. I know most of these will be lost or tossed, so I decided to scan them and create this on-line gallery. Hope you dig!
