It's the middle of June and the dust has finally settled from the 2026 Pre-Order Campaign and I have myself together enough to report out to the "inside small-press" type fans. Overall, it was a success despite some fairly significant set backs. My specific goals were: 1) Avoid what I hate about third party crowd-funder platforms but duplicate results 2) Pay Artists a Decent Rate despite "spec" arrangement. 3) Use Sponsorship Packages to both fund and distribute comics. GOAL

I’m afraid that I have bad news: I have to cancel pre-orders for the Collected Rockin’ Bones Trade Paperback. Unfortunately, Darren has had a computer crash and the majority files/pages needed to complete the book are currently inaccessible. Last night (February 5, 2025) The Zine Club Columbus and the Wex's Community Studio offered up a free zine studio... Complete with materials for everyone attending to make zines and a big ole' box zines for free/trade. (As you can see in the pic of my haul below, a good chunk of the ones in the box when I got their were Anti-ICE. It's great to see members of the community using a mini-zine format to get heard!) 2025 Objectives: I really only had one firm objective for 2025, and that was to release issues #8 and #9 of Tales from the Crate and Volume #3 of Sketchbook Picture Sleeves.
